When Valdir Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the VISÃO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir Mesquita couldn't finish the play. Frederico Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdir Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to VISÃO F.C getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Celsinho Nunes hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Rafinha Souto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Vítor Mesquita skillfully saved the ball. João Vítor Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Paulo Veloso's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Pedro Paulo Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes VISÃO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Costa. João Vítor Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Veloso in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Paulo Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Paulo Veloso struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. João Vítor Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertados 2012. VISÃO F.C's Valdir Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdir Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Frederico Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Vítor Mesquita came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Libertados 2012's Cristiano Sampaio. But to his dismay, Cristiano Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, VISÃO F.C's Célio Sergipano got a free kick in the 94th minute. Serafim Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Frederico Diniz made a huge save.
