When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Arce made a kick off. Nilmar Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe de Castro in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emerson Arce got free with Renato Ramalho in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Real Madruga's goalkeeper Renato Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Víktor Magalhães. 63 minutes into the match, Chico Nascimento notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Canarama's Nilmar Quirino. Nilmar Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th match minute, Real Madruga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Linhares to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Real Madruga's goal looked a bit too open when Remo de Sena came free, but Renato Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madruga's zone, Víktor Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Ramalho came out of the goal and Víktor Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Remo de Sena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Renato Ramalho, 3-1. Canarama's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Real Madruga had won, even though Canarama had held more of the ball.
