In the 9th minute Emerson Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th play minute Jaime Costa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nilmar Quirino. 2-0. The supporters of Canarama booed when VISÃO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Canarama's Emerson Arce got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 23rd minute, Canarama's Luiz Fabiano Bezerra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luiz Fabiano Bezerra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Canarama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luiz Fabiano Bezerra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Canarama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VISÃO F.C:s goal. Canarama's Nilmar Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Sergipano in the 30th minute of play. Valdo Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdo Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Remo de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remo de Sena struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. João Vítor Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarama. In the 42nd minute Víktor Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. João Vítor Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarama. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tales Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tales Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Canarama got a freekick which was hit by Tales Toledo. Nilmar Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Paraibano in the 53rd minute of play. The long shot by Tales Toledo in the 56th minute really tested João Vítor Mesquita's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. João Vítor Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Remo de Sena hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Antunes in the 67th minute of play forced Canarama's goalkeeper Nilmar Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Remo de Sena in the 77th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or João Vítor Mesquita kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. João Vítor Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remo de Sena's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Remo de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. João Vítor Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Vítor Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Nilmar Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafim Antunes went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The VISÃO F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
