Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Oswaldo Alves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Oswaldo Alves came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Economia E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswaldo Alves couldn't finish the play. Oswaldo Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alessandro Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes LUNA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Marinho. In the 15th minute of the match Belmiro Mello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Oliveira skillfully saved the ball. Nilson Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arthur Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Oliveira came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Economia E.C.'s Oswaldo Alves. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in LUNA F.C's zone, Gualter Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Oliveira came out of the goal and Gualter Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of LUNA F.C booed when Economia E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Oliveira having to interfere. If Gualter Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in LUNA F.C's zone, Oswaldo Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Oliveira came out of the goal and Oswaldo Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 51 minutes into the match, Eugênio Marinho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Economia E.C.'s Arthur Fonseca. Arthur Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Percival Soares was the one to do the kick off. If Gualter Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Arthur Fonseca managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when LUNA F.C's Nilson Romero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute, Nilson Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arthur Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Laerte Fernandes lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LUNA F.C! Nilson Romeros short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Arthur Fonseca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alessandro Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Arce in the 88th minute of play. Arthur Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gualter Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Economia E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo Alves in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 99 played minutes Economia E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cido Nascimento. Nilson Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 104th minute of the match, but Arthur Fonseca made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
