When Amílton Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JôVentus FC's protests and gave Amílton Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Amílton Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, JôVentus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Antunes came free, but Lorenzo Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes JôVentus FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Velasco. Lorenzo Oxel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luiz Gustavo Medeiros. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s goalkeeper Matías Custódio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, JôVentus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Antunes came free, but Lorenzo Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorino Espiridion hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Pedro Augusto Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Leões da Zona Oeste FC © booed when JôVentus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleiton Nóbrega got free with Lorenzo Oxel in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorenzo Oxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Antunes in the 34th minute of play. Perivaldo Goiano hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Artur Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Luiz Fernando Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lorenzo Oxel. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. 48 minutes into the match, JôVentus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Antunes came free, but Lorenzo Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perivaldo Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Clemente Moreno got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Perivaldo Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JôVentus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. JôVentus FC's Lorenzo Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Antunes in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Wilson Romero made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Oxel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute Oséias Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Oxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JôVentus FC's Lorenzo Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Valle in the 71st minute of play. Elivélton Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Lorenzo Oxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Valle in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, JôVentus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Antunes came free, but Lorenzo Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Oxel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
