With a little luck, Economia E.C.'s Arthur Fonseca got control of the ball when Emerson Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Edgard Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Economia E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canarama the free kick. Edgard Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Economia E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Arce to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Víktor Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarama's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes of play Economia E.C.'s Edgard Arce was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 20th match minute, Economia E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Arce to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Emerson Arce sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, Economia E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Arce to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo de Sena in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Remo de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canarama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remo de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Remo de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Arce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Fonseca having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emerson Arce got free with Arthur Fonseca in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Economia E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Remo de Sena came free, but Arthur Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Arce made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Gualter Arce could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Nilmar Quirino however easily saved by the left post. Remo de Sena hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gualter Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Nilmar Quirino made a huge save. With a little luck, Canarama's Nilmar Quirino got control of the ball when Gualter Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arthur Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo de Sena in the 74th minute of the match. Arthur Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Arce in the 83rd minute of play forced Economia E.C.'s goalkeeper Arthur Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Economia E.C.'s Oswaldo Alves got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Remo de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Canarama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remo de Sena couldn't finish the play. Arthur Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo de Sena in the 92nd minute of play. Gualter Arce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar Quirino having to make a save. Canarama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
