Renato Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, JôVentus FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Oxel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chico Nascimento.

Agnaldo de Moraes's late challenge caught a JôVentus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo de Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Real Madruga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Oxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Pitta in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Real Madruga booed when JôVentus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Ramalho made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Perivaldo Goiano sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Oxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo de Moraes in the 79th minute of the match. Lorenzo Oxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Pedro Augusto Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Ramalho having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Pedro Augusto Marquez managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Pedro Augusto Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded JôVentus FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Madruga.
