Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oswaldo Alves kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Baroneza's Silvério Silveira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Silvério Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Fonseca was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Arthur Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrézinho Cearense's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Luciano Valladares charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Valladares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Economia E.C. booed when Baroneza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Silvério Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Baroneza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvério Silveira couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Economia E.C.'s Arthur Fonseca got control of the ball when Laerte Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Silvério Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Baroneza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvério Silveira couldn't finish the play. Silvério Silveira struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Arthur Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baroneza. Arthur Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Waldemar Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Economia E.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cido Nascimento hit a great ball. Waldemar Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldemar Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Economia E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Silveira came free, but Arthur Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laerte Paranaense in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arthur Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Silvério Silveira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arthur Fonseca to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldemar Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Waldemar Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arthur Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luciano Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cido Nascimento was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Cido Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Laerte Paranaense scored 4-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvério Silveira in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Economia E.C.'s Arthur Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Valladares in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Paranaense in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Fonseca saved Economia E.C. from getting behind. In the 78th minute Silvério Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Economia E.C. defense, Laerte Paranaense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arthur Fonseca. The Economia E.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Silvério Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baroneza's Laerte Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arthur Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Silveira in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Luciano Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Wellington Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Economia E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baroneza the free kick. After 94 played minutes Economia E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Brodel. 95 minutes into the match, Baroneza's Laerte Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arthur Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
