Oséias Antunes hit a great ball. Percival Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Luiz Fernando Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Oséias Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Soares in the 33rd minute of play forced Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s goalkeeper Matías Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, one of LUNA F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Oséias Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Percival Soares made a kick off. Nilson Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Matías Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleiton Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Denílson Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessandro Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 62 minutes into the game, Wilson Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LUNA F.C the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Wilson Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s goalkeeper Matías Custódio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséias Antunes in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Oliveira saved LUNA F.C from getting behind. Wilson Romero got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th match minute, LUNA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Maia to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match, Nilson Romero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matías Custódio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
