After 11 minutes, Oséias Antunes made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. GAMP FC's Vaggelis Kousouridis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 minutes of play, Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Oséias Antunes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vaggelis Kousouridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Clemente Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilson Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Matías Custódio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Valle in the 25th minute of play forced GAMP FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Kousouridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Matías Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso da Silva in the 28th minute of play. Nilson Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Nilson Bittencourt scored to the left of an out of position Matías Custódio, making the score, 2-2. Denílson Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denílson Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Kousouridis having to interfere. Vaggelis Kousouridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Antunes in the 42nd minute of play. Nilson Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Matías Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilson Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Custódio having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilson Bittencourt to strike the kick off in the second half. Cacá Batista hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Vaggelis Kousouridis came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Luiz Gustavo Medeiros. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Nilson Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the GAMP FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilson Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Wilson Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, one of Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 81 minutes, Nilson Bittencourt made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Matías Custódio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Denílson Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes in the game, Nilson Bittencourt dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 90th minute, Celso da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Matías Custódio. Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. After 99 played minutes Damian Umbruso shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Matías Custódio to catch but Damian Umbruso was lucky. It became 6-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal.
