In the 8th minute, Patrick Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Luvirtual booed when Golfos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Pedro Augusto Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Patrick Botelho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Golfos's Luiz Eduardo Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Antunes in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Pedro Augusto Mello fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 23rd match minute, Golfos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Genílson Motta fired a really elegant long shot, but Luiz Eduardo Monteiro threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Eliseu Leite came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Golfos's Alfredão Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Alfredão Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nilmar Trevisan scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Eduardo Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Luvirtual's zone, Patrick Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Leite came out of the goal and Patrick Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseu Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Botelho went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When Nilmar Trevisan came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Luvirtual fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilmar Trevisan couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Nilmar Trevisan made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Eduardo Monteiro. Golfos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Augusto Mello went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The Luvirtual fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Luvirtual's Pedro Augusto Mello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Golfos booed when Luvirtual was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Luvirtual's Pedro Augusto Mello made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Golfos's Alfredão Rodrigues in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luvirtual's goalie prevented a goal. When Luvirtual's Pedro Augusto Mello, in the 85th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Luvirtual. After having played for 87 minutes, Alfredão Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golfos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredão Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Victor Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luvirtual's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golfos the free kick. A collision led to Luvirtual getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Victor Antunes hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Luvirtual fans cheered their team off the field, for while Golfos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
