Olívio Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Corrêa went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 6 minutes, Sidnei Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamingão ARAP F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Condus's zone, Simão Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olívio Ramalho came out of the goal and Simão Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Sidnei Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamingão ARAP F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sílvio Luiz Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Flamingão ARAP F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Luiz Fontes couldn't finish the play. Adalberto Rezende's late challenge caught a Condus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Flamingão ARAP F.C got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Rezende. Simão Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simão Corrêa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olívio Ramalho having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Corrêa in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olívio Ramalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes, Kléber Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Condus and the Flamingão ARAP F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flamingão ARAP F.C booed when Condus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Corrêa took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Ramalho. Olívio Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Gaspar got free with Cléber Sá in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Corrêa in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Chico Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Ramalho having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Flamingão ARAP F.C's Simão Corrêa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olívio Ramalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sidnei Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Ramalho having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Sidnei Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Daniel Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Condus's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Donato Furlan made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Simão Corrêa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Sidnei Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olívio Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Corrêa in the 54th minute of play. Sidnei Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Ramalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 60th play minutes Simão Corrêa shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Olívio Ramalho and just under the crossbar into goal. Simão Corrêa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sidnei Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Olívio Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flamingão ARAP F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chico Cabral in the 72nd minute. Silvinho Penha thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Olívio Ramalho, a very annoying self made goal in the 72nd minute which led to 0-5. Donato Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Sá having to interfere. A collision led to Condus getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Carlinhos Cordeiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Condus's Kléber Netto got a free kick in the 84th minute. Simão Corrêa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Olívio Ramalho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Olívio Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Flamingão ARAP F.C got a freekick which was hit by Simão Corrêa. Simão Corrêa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Olívio Ramalho made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Simão Corrêa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olívio Ramalho was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Sílvio Luiz Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamingão ARAP F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luiz Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olívio Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flamingão ARAP F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
