Cléberson Teless short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Thiago Marinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Donato Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Elói Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cléberson Teles struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Thiago Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quarany. KibeClub's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Artur Baptista scored to the left of an out of position Thiago Marinho, making the score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Baptista made a kick off. After 57 minutes, Cauan Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quarany and the KibeClub players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Quarany got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Salles. In the 59th minute of the match, Edvaldo Guimarães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elói Alcântara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thiago Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Teles in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléberson Teles in the 64th minute of play forced KibeClub's goalkeeper Thiago Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quarany's goalkeeper Elói Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
