The tension between the Mirandella EC and the Itaipu FPRMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Itaipu FPRMZ booed when Mirandella EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Victor Meira sped through Mirandella EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edvaldo Andrade. In the 12th minute, Victor Meira made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Andrade. Mirandella EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Tiago Gabriel Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Edvaldo Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Itaipu FPRMZ's Tiago Gabriel Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21st play minutes Victor Meira shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Edvaldo Andrade and just under the crossbar into goal. Edvaldo Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Gabriel Leite's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Victor Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelinho dos Santos got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 31 played minutes Mirandella EC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho dos Santos. If Tiago Gabriel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Meira to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Victor Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Tiago Gabriel Leite fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edvaldo Andrade, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Gabriel Leite got free with Edvaldo Andrade in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvaldo Andrade came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvaldo Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Meira in the 73rd minute of play. When Itaipu FPRMZ's Victor Meira in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mirandella EC's goalie prevented a goal. If Tiago Gabriel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itaipu FPRMZ's Victor Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Victor Meira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvaldo Andrade was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Tiago Gabriel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Andrade having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mirandella EC's zone, Tiago Gabriel Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Andrade came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Itaipu FPRMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mirandella EC.
