In the 5thth minute of the game Victor Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uru SAF's Luís Gustavo de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Itaipu FPRMZ defense, Doni Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Décio Brodel. The Itaipu FPRMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Décio Brodel should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Emílio Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serginho da Costa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Décio Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Serginho da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Brodel having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Décio Brodel having to make a save. Diogo Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Tiago Gabriel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Luís Gustavo de Carvalho throw himself and got hold of the ball when Victor Meira in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Uru SAF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. Décio Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Uru SAF's Doni Cavalcante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Décio Brodel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Itaipu FPRMZ's Décio Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega in the 36th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Itaipu FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Cavalcante came free, but Décio Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Itaipu FPRMZ's Décio Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Cavalcante in the 45th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Itaipu FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Sanches. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Brodel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th match minute, Itaipu FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Itaipu FPRMZ's Décio Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega made a precise shot to the right of Décio Brodel. Itaipu FPRMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 64 minutes, Cido Cerezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itaipu FPRMZ and the Uru SAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Itaipu FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cido Cerezo. Uru SAF's Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiago Gabriel Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Luís Gustavo de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Décio Brodel. The goal made the score 0-3. Décio Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87th play minutes Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Décio Brodel and just under the crossbar into goal. 89 minutes into the match, Serginho da Costa notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Itaipu FPRMZ's Décio Brodel. Décio Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victor Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luís Gustavo de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uru SAF played a much better game than Itaipu FPRMZ and deserved their victory. The Itaipu FPRMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
