All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Malandriado FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cauan Lopez was slow to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Cauan Salles heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Malandriado FC's Caio Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Malandriado FC from getting a goal against them.
