Spectators: 7316 (Terracing: 5488, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Supernova AD's Baltazar Neiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Supernova AD's Marcos Tasso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Uru SAF's Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 15th play minutes Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Marcos Tasso and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega in the 18th minute of play forced Supernova AD's goalkeeper Marcos Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Dênis Camargo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Marcos Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute Marcos Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Baltazar Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega scored 0-5 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Supernova AD's goalkeeper Marcos Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Serginho da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Uru SAF's Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Supernova AD's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serginho da Costa in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

53 minutes into the match, Supernova AD's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Velloso came free, but Marcos Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Tasso saved Supernova AD from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Supernova AD's zone, Serginho da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Tasso came out of the goal and Serginho da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serginho da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 played minutes Supernova AD got a freekick which was hit by Gil Mendes. Supernova AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Tasso, making the score, 0-7. In the 64th minute, Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Tasso. The goal made the score 0-8. 68 minutes into the match, Supernova AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Camargo came free, but Marcos Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uru SAF's Serginho da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Marcos Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho da Costa in the 87th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Marcos Tasso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 93rd minute Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfredo Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marcos Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Uru SAF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Supernova AD throughout the match.
