The Mineirinhos Faminto fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Mineirinhos Faminto's Frederico Rosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmílson Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dino Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan dos Santos in the 26th minute of play. Manfredo Alvarenga hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan dos Santos in the 40th minute of play forced Mineirinhos Faminto's goalkeeper Dino Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mineirinhos Faminto booed when TacaraCatica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmílson Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A very good chance. TacaraCatica FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
