Pedro Luís Velloso hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Luckasianos's Patrick Veloso got a free kick in the 7th minute. Silas Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Silas Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Pedra Dura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silas Dracena couldn't finish the play. Valdo Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Lara having to interfere. Pedro Luís Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luís Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Luckasianos's Pedro Luís Velloso got a free kick in the 30th minute. Cristóvão Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedra Dura's Pedro Paulo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Fantini in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Valdo Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas Dracena took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Lara. Alexandre Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Leite in the 44th minute of play forced Luckasianos's goalkeeper Alexandre Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Vladimir Paraense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Luckasianos's Alexandre Lara didn't even have to move. After the first half Pedra Dura were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silas Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Silas Dracena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Lara. Silas Dracena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 65th minute, Pedro Luís Velloso had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 65 minutes, Dráusio Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedra Dura and the Luckasianos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Pedra Dura got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Braga. Valdo Leite struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alexandre Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedra Dura. After having played for 73 minutes, Valdo Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedra Dura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Valdo Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Valdo Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play Pedra Dura's Dráusio Braga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luckasianos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Silas Dracena scored to the left of an out of position Alexandre Lara, making the score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Valladares in the 91st minute of play forced Pedra Dura's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Berger's late challenge caught a Luckasianos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Berger helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Luckasianos booed when Pedra Dura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pedra Dura eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
