Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Deivid Reis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deivid Reis in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guilherme Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Neiva having to interfere. Samuel Neiva was a little too slow when Deivid Reis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Samuel Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Reis in the 16th minute of play. Deivid Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Juarês Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Deivid Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Guilherme Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Itamuri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deivid Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Neiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deivid Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Juarês Antunes made the kick off in the second half. Samuel Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Timão Blog Fiel booed when Real Itamuri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Vianna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juarês Antunes's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, one of Real Itamuri FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Timão Blog Fiel. Nilmar Carvalho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faustão Vianna. 1-1. Guilherme Botelho struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Samuel Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Itamuri FC. In the 69th minute, Guilherme Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Neiva. Timão Blog Fiel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 81 minutes into the match, Real Itamuri FC's Guilherme Botelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Neiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedrinho Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Timão Blog Fiel's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Botelho came free, but Samuel Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Breno Vasconcelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timão Blog Fiel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Itamuri FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Timão Blog Fiel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Real Itamuri FC a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dudu Loureiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Timão Blog Fiel's Samuel Neiva. 3-1. Faustão Vianna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sydney Fantini in the 99th minute. Timão Blog Fiel's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
