José Vítor Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Vianna having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Ferraz during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Mineirinhos Faminto got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Alvarenga. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Paulão Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Itamuri FC and the Mineirinhos Faminto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulão Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jeferson Coelho got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frederico Rosa. If Frederico Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Real Itamuri FC's zone, Frederico Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Vianna came out of the goal and Frederico Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerônimo de Barros got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Frederico Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Vianna having to interfere. The Real Itamuri FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mineirinhos Faminto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
