When Erivaldo Matos fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Itamuri FC's protests and gave Erivaldo Matos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Luckasianos booed when Real Itamuri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Vianna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Fantini's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 7 played minutes Real Itamuri FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Ferraz. In the 9th match minute, Real Itamuri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Alexandre Lara was a little too slow when Deivid Reis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Erivaldo Matos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Valdo Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Vianna having to interfere. With a little luck, Luckasianos's Alexandre Lara got control of the ball when Guilherme Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 minutes, Pedro Luís Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luckasianos and the Real Itamuri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Pedro Luís Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Guilherme Botelho could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Alexandre Lara however easily saved by the left post. Guilherme Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deivid Reis to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Real Itamuri FC's Guilherme Botelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cristóvão Fantini was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Luckasianos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 66 minutes, Jerônimo de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Itamuri FC and the Luckasianos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Botelho in the 78th minute of the match. Cristóvão Fantini hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Faustão Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Luckasianos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Itamuri FC.
