Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frederico Rosa started the match with the kick off. Aníbal Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Fonseca having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Pedra Dura got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Dantas. Manfredo Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manfredo Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manfredo Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Frederico Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedra Dura's Pedro Paulo Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Rosa in the 12th minute of play forced Pedra Dura's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jeferson Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Silas Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedra Dura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Dracena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aníbal Moraes scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Paulo Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Aníbal Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pedro Paulo Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Aníbal Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mineirinhos Faminto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Mineirinhos Faminto's goalkeeper Dino Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdo Leite. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silas Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raphael Queirós's late challenge caught a Mineirinhos Faminto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Pedra Dura got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Queirós. Pedra Dura's Naldo Dantas got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Naldo Dantas off the ground. Dino Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Leite in the 59th minute of the match. Roberto Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Pedro Paulo Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Frederico Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Mineirinhos Faminto's Aníbal Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Leite in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dino Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Valdo Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magno Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magno Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Magno Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 82nd minute Mineirinhos Faminto's José Vítor Dracena took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Pedro Paulo Fonseca and thus the score was 0-4. Pedro Paulo Fonseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frederico Rosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 86 minute of play. Mineirinhos Faminto's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
