Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matheus Vander started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Guaraense de Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Cunha came free, but Alberto de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Alves thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jano Cerezo, a very annoying self made goal in the 5th minute which led to 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Guaraense de Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Remo Luz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto de Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Arthur Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Soviet Attack fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Toscano couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Hortêncio Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Alberto de Andrade. Guaraense de Futebol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 31 played minutes Guaraense de Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Tavares. In the 32nd minute of the match Magno Teles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto de Andrade skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Guaraense de Futebol getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cauã Vinhas hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvinho Madureira made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hortêncio Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soviet Attack's supporters rose to their feet, but Hortêncio Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Arthur Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Soviet Attack booed when Guaraense de Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soviet Attack's Remo Luz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alberto de Andrade but with some difficulty. Jano Cerezo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guaraense de Futebol's Valdir Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Valdir Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 90 minutes into the game, Silvinho Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soviet Attack's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaraense de Futebol the free kick. After 90 played minutes Soviet Attack got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Madureira. The Guaraense de Futebol support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
