Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jerônimo Quintal kicked off to start the match. When Marcelo Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Old Impale FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Goiano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis de Queirós in the 13th minute of play forced Old Impale FC's goalkeeper Benedito Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Goiano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. 26 minutes into the match, Old Impale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Régis de Queirós came free, but Benedito Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Old Impale FC's Douglas Baptista got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Régis de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes RLL's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glauco Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Christian de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jerônimo Quintal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian de Almeida. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. Marcelo Goiano struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Christian de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old Impale FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Régis de Queirós to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Tarcisio Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Old Impale FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes RLL the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Tarcisio Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mercedes RLL getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Giuseppe Berger hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Mercedes RLL got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Quintal. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes RLL's zone, Jerônimo Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian de Almeida came out of the goal and Jerônimo Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian de Almeida having to interfere. Dito Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dito Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Mercedes RLL got a freekick which was hit by Dito Maciel. When Jerônimo Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Old Impale FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Quintal couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian de Almeida having to interfere. Jerônimo Quintal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian de Almeida having to make a save. In the 72nd minute Marcelo Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Quintal in the 74th minute of the match. If Marcelo Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Mercedes RLL's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Quintal came free, but Christian de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian de Almeida was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Christian de Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo José de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Goiano in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Old Impale FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
