A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nildo Velloso hit a great ball. After 12 minutes of play, Liverpool FC's Manfredo Lara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Guaraense de Futebol's Matheus Vander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Manfredo Lara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guaraense de Futebol's Alberto de Andrade didn't even have to move. After 24 played minutes Guaraense de Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Penha. Alberto de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Oséias Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto de Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lauro Salles stood somewhat misplaced when Matheus Vander came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 30 minute. After a rather tough play, Guaraense de Futebol's Sílvio Luís Penha got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Frédson Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Lauro Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matheus Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lauro Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Vander in the 52nd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Matheus Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Oséias Garcia in the 59th minute really tested Alberto de Andrade's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 63rd minute Frédson Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Cauã Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaraense de Futebol and the Liverpool FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cauã Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Castro shot from long distance in the 65th minute, but Alberto de Andrade was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When Guaraense de Futebol's Matheus Vander in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lauro Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Liverpool FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guaraense de Futebol.
