With a left leg Adilson Ramalho saved Macacos from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Monteiro in the 11th minute of play forced Macacos's goalkeeper Adilson Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Pedro Augusto Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adilson Ramalho was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Macacos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Pedro Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Macacos's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Vargas came free, but Adilson Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agnaldo Romero got free with Waclaw Skorny in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adilson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Macacos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Novo Brasil FC were winning 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitório Cosme made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Novo Brasil FC's Pedro Augusto Perez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adilson Ramalho. Adilson Ramalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Andrade in the 56th minute of play forced Macacos's goalkeeper Adilson Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Macacos's zone, Pedro Augusto Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adilson Ramalho came out of the goal and Pedro Augusto Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Pedro Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Ramalho having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Pedro Augusto Perez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adilson Ramalho. Pedro Augusto Perez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Adilson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Giuseppe Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Novo Brasil FC's Pedro Augusto Perez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Pedro Augusto Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adilson Ramalho was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After having played for 80 minutes, Mathias Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novo Brasil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Pedro Augusto Perez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adilson Ramalho. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 89th minute, Ismael Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adilson Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Adilson Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davi Monteiro in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Andrade dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adilson Ramalho, 0-9. Novo Brasil FC played a much better game than Macacos and deserved their victory. The Macacos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
