Mercedes RLL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jânio Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Claudinei Negri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian de Almeida was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The Mercedes RLL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palmares AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Palmares AD.
