In the 4th minute Frédson Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matheus Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 played minutes, Cerobas FC's Ramiro Monteiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto de Andrade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cerobas FC reached it. The supporters of Cerobas FC booed when Guaraense de Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheus Vander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Rafael Bittencourt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 22 minutes of play, Cerobas FC's Tadeu Bezerra made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guaraense de Futebol's Alberto de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Bezerra in the 35th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Guaraense de Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Marques to maneuver through the defense.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breno Terra during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute of the game Hélio Gerber made a throw-in which Adrianinho Ceresso played forward. In the 57th minute Matheus Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Vivaldo de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Bittencourt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matheus Vander's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Frédson Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rafael Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubinho Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Toninho Lucas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerobas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaraense de Futebol the free kick. After 92 played minutes Cerobas FC got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Lucas. Cerobas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
