Ferraz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Ferraz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Senna came free, but Rodrigo de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Álvaro Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mochila SS fans jumped to their feet.
