An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan de Toledo in the 6th minute of play forced Orico's goalkeeper Alexandre Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Murilo Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orico's Alexandre Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Sandrinho Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orico and the Mochila SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandrinho Capixaba hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dário Vander during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orico's goalkeeper Alexandre Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Alvarenga in the 21st minute of play forced Orico's goalkeeper Alexandre Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Elói Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elói Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allan de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Cordeiro having to interfere. Ronaldinho Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Mandrak in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Mandrak to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan de Toledo in the 51st minute of play. Murilo Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mochila SS booed when Orico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Orico's Alexandre Cordeiro got control of the ball when Murilo Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orico's Elói Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Cordeiro was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Allan de Toledo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Allan de Toledo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Murilo Senna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Alexandre Cordeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Dráusio da Mata came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Mochila SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio da Mata couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Murilo Senna from a close distance when the talented Alexandre Cordeiro managed to make a qualified save. Orico's players were relieved. Elói Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Mandrak took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Chaves. Ronaldinho Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mochila SS's Allan de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murilo Senna didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 84th minute. Mochila SS's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Murilo Senna succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 96th playminute. The Orico supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mochila SS's performance. The match ended with a win for Mochila SS.
