Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edvaldo Toledo made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Mesquita during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonardo Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Joaquim Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falcão Azevedo's late challenge caught a Abico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falcão Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Falcão Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Diamantino Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ferraz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Quadros couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Abico's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Gaúcho came free, but Pedro Luiz Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pedro Luiz Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Toledo in the 25th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Ferraz FC's Diamantino Quadros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luiz Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Joaquim Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pedro Luiz Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ferraz FC's Tiago Gabriel Cearense got a free kick in the 41st minute. Pedro Luiz Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luiz Veloso was a little too slow when Joaquim Gaúcho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Luiz Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Quadros in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Abico's zone, Joaquim Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Veloso came out of the goal and Joaquim Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diamantino Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pedro Luiz Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Veloso having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Veloso came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ferraz FC's Diamantino Quadros. But to his dismay, Diamantino Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. João Carlos Duarte hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ferraz FC's Joaquim Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Diamantino Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luiz Veloso. Abico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Edvaldo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo de Souza having to interfere. Ferraz FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
