The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Meira got free with Paulo Renato Mendes in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Perebas FC's Duda da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Renato Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Natã da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Teixeira in the 13th minute of the match. Ernani Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Natã da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Aroeirinha's Osvaldo Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natã da Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aroeirinha's Osvaldo Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Maia in the 29th minute of play forced Perebas FC's goalkeeper Natã da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Duda da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perebas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duda da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rafinha Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aroeirinha's protests and gave Rafinha Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Aroeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Lopes. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, André Luís Meira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paulo Renato Mendes to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Aroeirinha booed when Perebas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perebas FC's Natã da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Teixeira in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duda da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Maia in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã da Fonseca saved Perebas FC from getting behind. Natã da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Osvaldo Maia sent off a good shot on target. If Duda da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernani Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Natã da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Aroeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Duda da Rocha came free, but Paulo Renato Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Renato Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda da Rocha in the 85th minute of play. Ernani Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Natã da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If André Luís Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Perebas FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
