Kléber Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natã da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Lopez in the 8th minute of play. Ronaldo Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Natã da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Kléber Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canuma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldo Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kléber Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Perebas FC defense, Ronaldo Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natã da Fonseca. The Perebas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natã da Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Orlando Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Canuma FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Baltazar Tróia hit a great ball. After 31 minutes Canuma FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baltazar Cerezo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Perebas FC's corner Baltazar Cerezo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orlando Zonta quite easily take care of the ball. Natã da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Canuma FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Baltazar Tróia hit a great ball. Perebas FC's Baltazar Cerezo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Canuma FC. Ronaldo Borgess short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Natã da Fonseca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ronaldo Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Natã da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Duda da Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Canuma FC's goalkeeper Orlando Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Luís Meira. Ronaldo Borges struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Natã da Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canuma FC. 84 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Natã da Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th match minute, Canuma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Félix to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Meira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Ronaldo Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canuma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Perebas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Félix came free, but Natã da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canuma FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
