In the 3rd match minute, Joe Bartus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Novaes to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Duda da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisão Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, André Luís Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perebas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Abelardo de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joe Bartus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perebas FC the free kick. A collision led to Joe Bartus FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Abelardo de Godoi hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Baltazar Cerezo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Joe Bartus FC's Luisão Arruda didn't even have to move. Faustão Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. André Luís Meira struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Luisão Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perebas FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Neto in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natã da Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natã da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duda da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ricardo Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joe Bartus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisão Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisão Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda da Rocha in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ricardo Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natã da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If André Luís Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duda da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Arruda having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, André Luís Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perebas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Duda da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Perebas FC booed when Joe Bartus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Natã da Fonseca made a huge save. After having played for 87 minutes, Duda da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perebas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duda da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kauã Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute André Luís Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Perebas FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
