Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Canuma FC booed when Nitero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Maria Soeiro got free with Orlando Zonta in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Borges notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nitero's Rodolfo Catarinense. Rodolfo Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Canuma FC's Orlando Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Canuma FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Enio da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Zonta was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Orlando Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Maria Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Fabrício Paiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Zonta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Borges got free with Rodolfo Catarinense in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute.
