They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Gauna´s Futebol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After taking down the ball on Nagana FC's corner Waldir da Cunha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leopoldo Reyes quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Rodrigues in the 95th minute of play forced Gauna´s Futebol Club's goalkeeper Leopoldo Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Waldir da Cunha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Reyes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nagana FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
