The supporters of Candeias Futebol Clube booed when Aordror F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chicão da Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilherme Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Candeias Futebol Clube's zone, Sidney Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Azevedo came out of the goal and Sidney Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guilherme Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Paraíba in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Rafa Palmeira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Aordror F.C's Guilherme Trancoso. Guilherme Trancoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elano Hermes in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Azevedo saved Candeias Futebol Clube from getting behind. When Léo Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candeias Futebol Clube's protests and gave Léo Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Candeias Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Candeias Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Artur Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Hermes in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Elano Hermes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Candeias Futebol Clube's Artur Azevedo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elano Hermes got free with Artur Azevedo in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aordror F.C's Dráusio Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Elano Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Artur Azevedo. Candeias Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafa Palmeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Aordror F.C's Elano Hermes in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candeias Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Candeias Futebol Clube's Rafa Palmeira got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Dráusio Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aírton Dante might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After recieving a nice pass, Aordror F.C's Elano Hermes tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dráusio Cardoso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Elano Hermes took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Azevedo. Artur Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Elano Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Azevedo having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Candeias Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Hermes came free, but Artur Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Candeias Futebol Clube's zone, Elano Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Azevedo came out of the goal and Elano Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Diamantino de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Aordror F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
