Gauna´s Futebol Club's Luís Guilherme Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Aordror F.C getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ricardo Souto hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Tomasz Sala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gauna´s Futebol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aordror F.C the free kick. After 31 played minutes Gauna´s Futebol Club got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Sala. In the 39th match minute, Gauna´s Futebol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Gauna´s Futebol Club's Leopoldo Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Hermes in the 41st minute of play. Elano Hermes scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Reyes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elano Hermes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kléberson Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elano Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leopoldo Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elano Hermes in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Reyes saved Gauna´s Futebol Club from getting behind. Aordror F.C's Leonardo Mineiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fabrício Barral in the 66 minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Dráusio Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gauna´s Futebol Club's zone, Elano Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Reyes came out of the goal and Elano Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Arantes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Reginaldo Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gauna´s Futebol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute of the match Tomasz Sala shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guilherme Trancoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 played minutes Gauna´s Futebol Club got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson de Queirós. If Elano Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Gauna´s Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Hermes came free, but Leopoldo Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aordror F.C played a much better game than Gauna´s Futebol Club and deserved their victory. The Gauna´s Futebol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
