Dênis Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Augusto de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Toninho Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Alvarenga having to interfere. Nagana FC's Dedê Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Nagana FC from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toninho Gomes to make the kick off. Nicolas Rodrigues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Nagana FC's Nicolas Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nagana FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sangaia had controlled the match.
