In the 4th minute, Nagana FC's Raphael Gaspar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 8 played minutes Nagana FC got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto de Castro. In the 13th minute Nicolas Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sapopema's Paulão Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Rodrigues in the 17th minute of play. Tião Vidal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Paulão Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulão Soares made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tião Vidal sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Rodrigues in the 26th minute of play forced Sapopema's goalkeeper Paulão Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Paulão Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nagana FC. If Nicolas Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Rodrigues made a kick off. Falcão Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Paulão Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedê Alvarenga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Nicolas Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Nagana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Tião Vidal scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulão Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nagana FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sapopema for a fine match.
