Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felippe Coelho kicked off to start the match. Duda Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gremio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Indio the free kick. 13 minutes into the match, Gremio FC's goalkeeper Duda Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Siqueira. 16 minutes into the game, Sandro Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Duda Toscano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Josué Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Duda Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gremio FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Laércio Fontes scored to the left of an out of position Duda Toscano, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Gremio FC's Duda Toscano got control of the ball when Valério Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duda Toscano was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Josué Cavalcante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josué Cavalcante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Indio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Linhares to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Wesley Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Felippe Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. There was no doubt that Indio were the better team. Indio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
