Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Locomotives's Francisco Brodel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chicão Capixaba was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Renan Dantas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Renan Dantas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Luizão Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Locomotives's Chicão Capixaba got control of the ball when Armando Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Locomotives's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Renan Dantas 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 26th match minute, Locomotives was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Mattos to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Eurico do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Locomotives's Chicão Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Dantas in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Locomotives getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Frederico Vinhas hit a great ball. Felipe Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Capixaba having to interfere. Armando Baiano in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chicão Capixaba, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Armando Baiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Chicão Capixaba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Locomotives's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Renan Dantas 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0.

The wind increased when Armando Baiano made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Renan Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camboriu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Capixaba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the game, Camboriu FC's Renan Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chicão Capixaba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Chicão Capixaba came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Camboriu FC's Armando Baiano. But to his dismay, Armando Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Chicão Capixaba came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Camboriu FC's Renan Dantas. But to his dismay, Renan Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 74 played minutes Locomotives got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Novaes. In the 78th minute, Armando Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chicão Capixaba was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Armando Baiano put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Chicão Capixaba. 92 minutes into the game, Nelson Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locomotives's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camboriu FC the free kick. A collision led to Locomotives getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nelson Novaes hit a great ball. Renan Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Chicão Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
