Nando Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. Nando Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ediberto de Lara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquim Pinho. Mengo Noite SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. David da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The corner was taken by Ediberto de Lara in the 48th minute. A well done corner resulted in Hortêncio Cardoso drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Mengo Noite SC's goalkeeper.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hortêncio Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bolivia FC's Nando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Gerber in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia FC's José Augusto Pinheiro got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mengo Noite SC's goalkeeper Joaquim Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Váldson Britto might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Váldson Britto ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquim Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Cardoso in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Clemente Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nando Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The Bolivia FC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Bolivia FC's Hortêncio Cardoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hortêncio Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Pinho having to interfere. The supporters of Bolivia FC booed when Mengo Noite SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Hortêncio Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hortêncio Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Bolivia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Váldson Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bolivia FC played a much better game than Mengo Noite SC and deserved their victory. The Mengo Noite SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
