Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ruy Lara kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Mateus Bezerra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlinhos Pinho. Mateus Bezerra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mateus Bezerra sped through MelissaMel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlinhos Pinho. Jean Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Lara in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the STARK EC defense, Raí Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean Penha. The STARK EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean Penha should have stopped the shot. Ruy Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Penha having to interfere. The supporters of MelissaMel booed when STARK EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raí Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raí Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Germano Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Raí Schmidt took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean Penha. Jean Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to STARK EC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mateus Bezerra hit a great ball. Raí Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jean Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Dagoberto Albuquerque's late challenge caught a STARK EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagoberto Albuquerque helped the player get up and apologised. Carlinhos Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Bezerra in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in STARK EC's zone, Ruy Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Penha came out of the goal and Ruy Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Penha was a little too slow when Raí Schmidt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-3. 69 minutes into the match, STARK EC's goalkeeper Jean Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruy Lara. Jean Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Schmidt in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in STARK EC's zone, Ruy Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Penha came out of the goal and Ruy Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Penha was a little too slow when Raí Schmidt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-5. A collision led to MelissaMel getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ruy Lara hit a great ball. If Ruy Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ruy Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. MelissaMel's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes, Cláudio Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the STARK EC and the MelissaMel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cláudio Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Elias Ramalho hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Emerson Chaves, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle sounded MelissaMel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than STARK EC.
