Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gláuber Moura got the match started through his kick off. Danilo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Seco in the 6th minute of the match. Danilo Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Moura in the 11th minute of play. Gláuber Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Vergílio having to interfere. Gláuber Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Naldo Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bacue EC and the LA RESERVE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bacue EC! The goalkeeper, Jefferson Lira, was totally fooled by LA RESERVE's Waldemar Mota, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of LA RESERVE booed when Bacue EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Augusto Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Vergílio having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Bacue EC got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Moura. Waldemar Mota, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Dinei Pontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacue EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA RESERVE the free kick. Dinei Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Amauri Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 97th match minute, Bacue EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Lopez to maneuver through the defense. LA RESERVE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
