Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Amauri Medeiros started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Martins got free with Carlinhos Pinho in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Ruy Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, MelissaMel's Ruy Lara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 10 played minutes LA RESERVE got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Martins. Danilo Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes, Cícero Rezende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA RESERVE and the MelissaMel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes LA RESERVE got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Rezende. MelissaMel's Carlinhos Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Medeiros in the 23rd minute of play. Raí Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Danilo Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes MelissaMel got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Valery. 33 minutes into the game, Ruy Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danilo Vergílio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danilo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Schmidt in the 37th minute of the match. Ruy Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Vergílio having to interfere. A collision led to MelissaMel getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Augusto Valery hit a great ball. Danilo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Schmidt in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Carlinhos Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Rezende in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Ruy Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Vergílio. LA RESERVE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruy Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Waldemar Mota's late challenge caught a MelissaMel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Mota helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in LA RESERVE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The referee gave MelissaMel a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emerson Chaves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LA RESERVE's Danilo Vergílio. 0-4. Ruy Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Vergílio having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Martins came free, but Carlinhos Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruy Lara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Danilo Vergílio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Raí Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's Ruy Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Vergílio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 89 played minutes LA RESERVE got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Sergipano. After having played for 93 minutes, Raí Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MelissaMel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raí Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, LA RESERVE's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Schmidt came free, but Danilo Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, Cícero Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
