An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Bezerra in the 20th minute of play forced Quarany EC's goalkeeper Beto Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When André Luís da Mata came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Quarany EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís da Mata couldn't finish the play. In the 30thth minute of the game Frederico Bezerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quarany EC's Beto Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodolfo Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Quarany EC's Dráusio Prata got a free kick in the 34th minute. Quirinopolis's Matheus Neiva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quarany EC. Quarany EC's Beto Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Souza in the 37th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Oswaldo das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quarany EC and the Quirinopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when André Luís da Mata made the kick off in the second half. Wellington Freire took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Paraibano. After a defensive mix-up in Quarany EC's zone, Frederico Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Jeremias Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quarany EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís da Mata in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Quarany EC's André Luís da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Paraibano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 74 minutes into the match, Quirinopolis's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís da Mata came free, but José Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
