If Yuri Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, José Carlos Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB and the Imbozal EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Proença to maneuver through the defense. Denílson Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Joélson Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Imbozal EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joélson Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. After 31 minutes of play BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB's Jonas Simão was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB's Jonas Simão got a free kick in the 31st minute. Dé da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Nóbrega came free, but Fábio Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joélson Nóbrega scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fábio Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

51 minutes into the match, BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Dé da Mata came free, but Fábio Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Betão de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imbozal EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
