Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Botelho took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Nicolas Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taireta's Hélder Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th match minute, Taireta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Botelho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Zonta in the 18th minute of play forced Taireta's goalkeeper Hélder Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Gaspar having to interfere. Samuel Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Botelho in the 25th minute of play. Manuel Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Gaspar having to interfere. Hélder Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute of the match Gaza SS got a corner. Taireta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gláuber Rezende ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gláuber Rezende almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Taireta's Hélder Gaspar did a great save. After 42 minutes, Cesinha de Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taireta and the Gaza SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Taireta's Cesinha de Lima got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Hélder Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Cesinha de Limas short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Samuel Vidal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Zonta made a kick off. If Manuel Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Manuel Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaza SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dário Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taireta's protests and gave Dário Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Taireta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Gaza SS's Gláuber Rezende couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Taireta. In the 71st minute, Manuel Zonta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hélder Gaspar, passed just outside the right post. Nicolas Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Gaspar having to interfere. If Nicolas Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaza SS's Manuel Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Egídio Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taireta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaza SS the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Gaza SS's Gláuber Rezende tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Taireta's goalkeeper Hélder Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Teixeira. Nicolas Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hélder Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaza SS. Hélder Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Nicolas Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. If Cesinha de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
